Stella’s dance recital was this weekend. When she came on stage, we had beaming smiles on our faces as we juggled the video and photo cameras. She danced to sleeping beauty and was so graceful. You wouldn’t have known that an hour before she had a fever and down with the croup. Despite her sickess, she really wanted to go perform. And I encourage it. With the amount of money that went out for this dance recital, I was determined to get her out on stage. So with a little help of motrin, she was back on her feet–for the time being. The dance recital turned out good. But once Stella got off the stage, she was trashed and tired and sick. I’ve been nursing her back to health, along with Lucas now and me. Yup, I got sick too. I guess it serves me right since I encouraged her to dance while under the weather. But isn’t she a pretty ballerina?
