7 Tips for a Virtual Teacher Appreciation Week
  1. The one that most children do is take a photo of the child with a thank you note using Five Star products to their teacher and compile together as a class as a video and send it to the teacher. There are really great video editing websites and apps that will allow you to add music, text and effects. You can even just send it with just your child. Either way the teacher would love to get a note!
  2. Another fun idea with a classroom or a group of students is each child take a photo of a letter and then when you put the photos together as a collage, the letters spell out THANK YOU Ms…… You can make collages in Canva.
  3. Send a “virtual gift bag” to your teacher! Get creative by making either a “virtual movie gift bag” that has Redbox codes or Google Play credit and send a cozy blanket to your teacher. Another idea is “spa virtual gift bag” with a e-card to my favorite makeup store and cozy plush slippers.
  4. Give out local restaurant gift cards! Support your community by giving your teacher a break to enjoy her favorite restaurant.
  5. Put together an end of year student keepsake book. Most likely your child may not be returning to school this year. Reach out to the parents in your class to ask for pictures and thank you notes and compile all together in a special classroom keepsake book.
  6. Host a drive-by teacher appreciation parade party! Ask participates to make thank you posters, meet in the school parking lot then head to your teachers house to do the drive by. Once you are near the house, the kids can cheer for the teacher.
  7. Send them an e-card!! Everyone loves an e-card!
